elliptIQ President Speaks at TBX Conference

Ontario, CA (May 20) Responding to an invitation by TBX officials, elliptIQ President, Elliott Stotler acted as a a conference speaker. The Techome Builder Conference and Expo (TBX) is one of the largest gatherings of builder and developer executives focused solely on home and community technology.

As a real estate industry veteran, Stotler presented the community network component of the session titled, “How Connected Communities are Unique.�? Noting that more and more communities in America are master planned for technology with high speed community wide telecommunications networks, community networks and standardized in home networking gear, the expert panel provided valuable insight into industry trends and spoke to the need for all builders and developers serious about maintaining the leading edge in their markets, to embrace the core elements of a complete technology story.

Also participating on the panel was Mark Turner of Corning Cable Systems and Jeff Wilson of GE Security. Turner spoke of the latest innovations of Fiber to the Home Networks and their long term benefit to the community and the resident. Wilson illustrated the many opportunities with structured wiring and the many In-Home systems that become possible when the basic wiring and panel are included.

“The community network is a tool that facilitates the creation of social fabric as well as enhances communication and use of community assets.�? Speaking to the need to stand out in the competitive world of homebuilding and community development, Stotler noted that a community network is an authentic marketing differentiator.

“When it is all said and done though, it is not about the technology, it is about the people,�? noted Stotler. “It does not matter how 'cool' it is unless it helps people change the way they live for the better�?
